Our vision is to shape the future of audio, where everyone can be effortlessly connected to the voices, stories and music they love wherever they are.

This is the place where a diverse group of emerging talent and legends alike come to share authentic and purposeful songs, stories, sounds and insights through some of the best programming and technology in the world. Our critically-acclaimed, industry-leading audio entertainment encompasses music, sports, comedy, news, talk, live events, and podcasting. No matter their individual role, each of our employees plays a vital part in bringing SiriusXM’s vision to life every day.

Stitcher, a subsidiary of SiriusXM, is the best place to listen to, produce and monetize podcasts. The Stitcher app is one of the world’s most popular podcast listening platforms, with a growing network of original content and a premium subscription service. Stitcher is home to Stitcher Originals, top-ranked comedy podcast network Earwolf, and award-winning documentary network Witness Docs, where it produces original content for talent such as Seth Rogen, LeVar Burton, Bill Nye, Office Ladies, and many more. We also provide ad sales and distribution services to 300+ shows such as WTF with Marc MaronCrime JunkieOprah’s SuperSoul Conversations and many more.

How you’ll make an impact:

As an Earwolf producer you’ll lead production on several weekly podcasts, planning recordings, overseeing delivery of episodes and working to ensure content meets our hosts’ creative and commercial goals.
We’re looking for talented showrunners with a demonstrable commitment to comedy and audio. People who can partner with the funniest entertainers in the business and dedicated internal teams to deliver high quality episodes each week, grow audiences and work to make Earwolf the premium home for comedy podcasters.

You should have an ear for good audio, great comic judgment, strong people skills, proficiency in audio recording and editing (ideally in Pro Tools), boundless creativity, and the plate-spinning skills to put all that into practice for some of the best shows in podcasting. If you enjoy working with comedians in a fast-paced, friendly, startup environment, with the protections, benefits and opportunities for professional growth that come with a larger parent company, this is the job for you.

What you’ll do:
  • Oversee the recording, editing and promotion of your own slate of weekly podcasts
  • Coordinate studio and remote sessions to ensure talent and their guests have a great experience recording with us
  • Provide support and creative input to ensure ongoing quality and originality
  • Work with our talent bookers to bring exciting, diverse, funny guests onto our podcasts – and then make sure they get paid
  • Review fan emails and voicemails for inclusion in the shows
  • Work with our ad sales and branded content teams to make sure ads are approved, recorded accurately and shared with sponsors in a timely manner
  • Record and edit episodes in partnership with our engineering team and the hosts
  • Source approved episode photos and create engaging promotional assets
  • Write show titles and episode descriptions
  • Write and produce promotional material in ways true to the hosts’ voices and the shows’ spirit
  • Coordinate the production and delivery of episode transcripts
  • Develop audience engagement tactics to foster community and bring new listeners to our network
  • Ongoing communication and advocacy on behalf of your shows across all parts of our company
  • Collaborate with the Stitcher Premium team to develop, sell and deliver original bonus content to run alongside Earwolf releases
What you’ll need:
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in podcast or radio production
  • Hands-on audio recording & editing skills (ProTools preferred)
  • A demonstrable passion for comedy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working collaboratively with creative talent
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experience in live event production and / or assistant work preferred
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
